- PERSONAL INFORMATION - I am Xinyi Huang, a Master’s graduate in Animation, Games, and Interactivity from RMIT University. During my studies, I focused on areas such as animation storytelling, character design, environment construction, and simulation, gaining practical experience and foundational knowledge in game development.
- GAME SHOWCASES & COMPETITIONS - I have participated in local game development events, including the Mini Game Jam (itch.io community competition), where I contributed to level design and art direction as a core member of the team. Our project received the First Place in the Special Design Award and Third Place Overall. I also take part in offline community events organized by the International Game Developers Association (IGDA) Melbourne Chapter, where I present my independent game projects and gather player feedback.
- TECHNICAL SKILLS - I am experienced with Unreal Engine and Unity, two of the leading game engines in the industry. I am also familiar with Procreate, Photoshop, and other design tools for visual creation and animation. Additionally, I have experience in level design and system planning, including writing Game Design Documents (GDDs), building maps, and designing UI.
